In the near to mid term, the Elise will have terrible resale value. It will be what we call in the trade "an orphan".

 

get a used S2000 w/ low miles, around 10K miles.

MY 02 are going for $22.5K and some in your area.
MY 03 are going for $27'ish.

MY 04 may feel too soft compared to the ITR and Elise.
Now you can have an S for 1/2 the price of the Elise.

 

In the tradition of Fox News (fair and balanced), someone recently posted that the "soft" MY04 was pulling 1 sec/lap on previous years, same driver, same track, same day, both stock.

 

 

Isn't that the car salesperson's job at the dealership? Isn't that what they get paid for?
