Cool stuff for S2000 for around $100
+1 on Convex mirrors. Regardless of how you adjust, blind spots or not, it allows you to see more. What's wrong with seeing two lanes instead of 1? Either way it's still my favorite lil mod to date next to the xbrace.
Honda obviously made it for a reason.

I know it won't prevent it, but just in case you aren't paying attention when revving high and rev up too high before shifting. Don't think I would ever do that, but could be nice just in case you really gun it without noticing how high in rpm's you are. I am aware it won't prevent anything if you miss shift or anything of that sort.

Where can I see the convex mirror and xbrace?
That's where I got both from.

Yes guys, the Modifry Shift Beeper does many neat things, but it simply cannot prevent a mechanical over rev. Still, it's one of the best mods I've made to the car, right up there with the CTSC/AC and RPSS (and at a much lower cost). Anyone who thinks they're too profecent to benefit from this little gadget is just fooling themself. Even if the only thing you ever used was the valet function it would justify the cost and effort to install.

What is the valet function? Also where do you put the beeper itself?
There is also a high RPM memory that will tell you how much you over reved if you throw a potential money shift, and by resetting the memory when you drop the car off somewhere, you have a record of how high the engine was reved when the car was out of your hands.
You can also use some of the beeper features for other functions, like gating a nitrous setup (which Modifry himself ran for a while before going FI).
Check out Modifry's Web site and read up on all the features. It's really a very cool mod.
On thing you may not hear about elsewhere is the way the beeper helps when autocrossing. Obviously it allows you to keep your eyes on the course rather than worrying about the tack, but more importantly, the thing beeps at different points on the course, giving you a form of feedback to compare runs. For example, if I get two beeps at the end of a first gear straight on one run, and three on the next, I know I'm getting more speed at the end of that straight. I also count the beeps to help me judge breaking points. It gives you a reference to where you are in comparison to previous runs, in terms of engine speed, something that would normally requre looking at the tack almost constantly.
Hahaha, and the first time the beeper goes off most people slow down quickly, because they forget about it and think it's their radar detector going off.
