FYI, T1R knob is heavier than stock. Countersunk knobs that are lighter than stock make it very difficult to get into gear, especially when the tranny is still cold. To the OP, most of the sponsors sell countersunk knobs, what difficulty did you have finding them? Rick's, aj-racing.com, evasive, bulletproof, inlinefour.com, too many more to list.

I have three shift knobs - stock, Voodoo Al, and a Voodoo Ti. I change the look of the interior periodically by changing the knob out. With the lock nut removed you can lower the stock shift knob so there you go.

I think the ARC is heavier than stock. Anyway, I have no problem with it in terms of getting into first.

I have the Voodoo Pearl Aluminum which is lighter than stock. But When I held both, you can barely tell the difference, I have had no issues getting it in gear at all and the shift feel is great.

You really can't beat it for $40, maybe sometime in the future I can justify the $150 for the J's knob, but for now this is a great solution.
