Default Countersinking OEM titanium shift knob?

I need to drop the knob height of the shifter. Where can I bring it so that I can have it countersunk?

probably cheaper to buy one that's already been countersunk. personally, I like the Voodoo knobs, but if you're looking for one the same shape as the OEM, I'm sure there are some already made.

btw, this probably doesn't belong in UTH.

yeah, maybe better in s2k talk. I want the knob that I have, unless someone sells an exact replica that is countersunk. I know I have read in the past that some countersunk their knobs. I would like to do that to mine, not sure of the difficulty level since it is titanium. I need to lower it though so that there is no gap between the knob and the boot.

But you don't like the knob the way it is, you want it lower. There is a thread on "How to" do this. But since you are asking, I would assume that you don't own the tools to do the work (Metric Taps and a Drill press). So you will need to find a machine shop in your area do the work. This might be harder to find then you think because this job is very small.

You might want to reconsider the VooDoo as it comes that way.

Another alternative to the voodoo is the RTM, although I am unsure where to buy this someone had mentioned it to be half the cost of the voodoo, (still the same shape, still countersunk) but weights in at even more than the titanium version of the voodoo, looks like a great peice i'd love to find one
