Default Cover for interior/Dash/Seats while top is down?

Does anyone know of a cover that I could put on while parking the car with the top down?

I have a towel I use to cover the seat/gear shift, man that shifter gets HOT!!

if its mainly to protect from the sun and dust, the oem honda cover is great. in fact i bought two!!
it is also well padded and helps the sides from dings.
my car is covered if its parked- top down...
the cover is not weather proof, and rain would go right through it, but its perfect for sun and dust protection.

Umm....
Why not put the top up?

It only takes 6 seconds, and just putting it up and closing the windows does a lot to protect the interior of the car.

And, if you do the wiring mod (just remove one wire from the connector on the passenger side), then you don't even need to wait until you are stopped in your parking space to start putting the top up.

Thanks for the replay wanabe, but I am looking for a cover to go over the entire cockpit area, seats, gear shifter, all that jazz.

Yeah but to put the top up I would need to take off the OEM top cover.

Here's kind of a silly tip:

A twin size fitted bedsheet (with elastic) works great to cover the entire cockpit.

Covers the soft top and cockpit. I loop over the sidemirrors and top corners.

--> I drive with the top down 99% of the time.
--> When I get into my garage at night (secured and not shared), I don't put my top up... because it's going down again first thing in the morning.
--> Yeah, it only takes 6 seconds... but it's the wear and tear of hundreds of unnecessary convertible motor usages.
--> I cover my cockpit to keep the pollen and dust out.
--> If I'm out, I put my top up.

The twin sheet was a no cost easy fix that has worked great for me.

Oh and for those who like to spend money, there was a thread a couple months back of a company that'll sell you a cockpit cover for ~$150.

First, welcome to the board.

I assume by "OEM top cover", you mean the "boot cover" or sometimes called the toneau (tonneau?) cover. Yes, it is a pain to have to remove the boot cover every time you want to put the top up. I think instead of a car cover (which covers the whole car), what you are looking for is a "cockpit cover" or "passenger compartment cover". These are small covers that fit over the front windshield to the roll hoops. Those have been discussed many times on this board. Do a search on this board and you will see pictures and links to places that sells that type of cover. Good luck.
