My only concern would be with the ride height of the CR coilovers. Some people have said that the front is higher than expected and the back lower after the conversion. Perhaps this has to do with the car needing time to settle.
This is true for base-model S2000s that got converted to CR suspension. Mine sits higher than it used to.

However, CR owners claimed that their cars aren't higher than the base model. I'm still trying to think how that's possible though. Unless there is a difference in their frames ...

did you get your CR suspension new? Is there any chance that they just need to settle?

maybe the ap2 is lighter than the CR and thus the stiff suspension lifts it up more <<absurd theory lmao... before i get flamed i should say that i know the CR weighs less than the ap2.

IIRC the above mentioned article actually put the CR as just slightly heavier then a stock ap2 (50 lbs or less I believe).

Does anyone have a picture of the cr coilovers next to stock ap2s? Maybe honda raised the front a bit to shift the weight back slightly as well as give more clearance for the front lip.

Although I don't have pictures, when I swapped the shocks from the '05 over to the CR and had everything off both cars, all suspension parts were identical. The only difference I saw was the thicker springs and the larger sway bars from the CR. I will have the CR on the scales at the next solo national tour for proof of its weight. I expect to see mid 2600lb range.
