Come to think of it... our dealer here in town has TWO sub 300 mile CR's.

Apex Blue & Black - They will take comfortably sub $30k for either one.

I don't know the seller but it looks like something that's a lot better
than the one at that dealer.

Buy a plane ticket and then drive it home. Would make for a great trip!

I believe the tax situation is that you (may) are required to pay the tax in the state you bought the car but these taxes are refunded when the car is regestered in another state. If this is true, she can buy the car from any state and only be liable to the state she lives in and registers the car. She should either shop locally or within a reasonable distance of her home.

The dealer can register her car for her too, in her home state. Every dealer has a DMV person that can handle this.
Having said that, the car in question is a Frankencar, IMO

as for the tax situation....i bought my car in Ohio and paid no tax when i picked it up. But when I went to AAA and registered my s2k in PA when I got home....then I had to write a check for the tax amount.
