for anyone who knows, how does the body roll of the CR compare to the AP2?

Please note when I say CR here, it really is a normal S2000 with CR-setup, because I do not have an actual CR -- just the suspension components, but that should make the comparison relatively accurate.

CR has much body roll less than AP2 does. The AP2 does suffer quite a bit from body roll imo; while the AP1 is slightly better, it still isn't that great. Also both AP1 and AP2 do dive and squad quite a bit, but the CR reduces those by a significant margin.

I would not say the roll is non-existent on the CR-setup, but it definitely is a lot less. I am commenting this based on both CR coilovers and sway bars. I have never tried them separately, so cannot say how much each contributed to the reduction in body roll. The turn-in is also much sharper (even though I have the slower steering ratio on my AP1), and that's probably a combination of both sway bars and front dampers/springs.

You should've taped off the rest of the car, lol. Nice to see that you really care about your finish. How do you like the re070's? Do you have any experience with any other tires on the S?

the RE070s are sticky. Very sticky. Not quite R-compounds but for streeet tires these things are amazing.

Currently running Kumho Ecsta MX for daily driving and its like a night and day difference between the two.

The only gripe I have with the RE070s is that theyre quiet. They dont squeal until after they break traction.
