The little hump on the Veilside is to clear the hardtop. Someone just needs to do a fiberglass version of the OEM tonneau... Maybe in 2-3 pieces that connect up when on the car so it can be stored.

Rick was looking into procuding one, but nothing ever came from it. Can Stratocastor confirm?

Yes, like a 2-piece that seperates in the middle so that they could be stacked and placed in the trunk. Carbon fiber would look good and could be painted.

Raising this thread from the grave.

After some searching I'm still wondering. Has anyone produced a hard tonneau cover that can fit easily in the trunk?

I'd like to see something like that as well, though there is a CR tonneau on hardtopguy.com for 1100. Top removed of course...

That would be awesome to have an OEM like hard removable tonneau cover to go over the soft top. I'm getting an OEM cover to go with my Mugen hardtop, maybe if i'm bored one day i'll make a mold of it and make a fiberglass one. Shouldnt be to hard.

Yeah that piece looks amazing. It looks like the top has to be removed for that to fit; my interest is in a unit that fits over the soft top and fits in the trunk. I can't be the only person interested in this. I'd guess something like that would sell like crazy.
