Arrow Cracked Windshield - Need Advice..

It looks like it's finally happened to me. I was driving on the highway and something made a small nick in the windshield that eventually proprogated to become a crack. I'd like to know if anyone has successfully had this covered under warranty. If not, does anyone know if this is an issue worth taking to insurance, or if I should attempt to handle the cost of this myself.

Thanks in advance!

Total cost of windshield was about $650 when I got it replaced.

Thankgod insurance covers it, doesn't affect my rates or anything.

The warranty won't cover a crack from a ding but your comprehensive will. Find a reputable place. Even most of those will work the price around your deductible. It should not count against you insurance wise.

$650??? Dang that sounds like a lot. I opted out of OEM glass when I got mine replaced, but even my estimate was only $250, I believe. I ended up going aftermarket for $200 dollars and got it replaced in 1 hour. Looks great and will likely crack another day, that's why I opted for a cheaper price. I can't imagine paying $650, but maybe that was because it was through insurance? Or maybe since less competition, it's more expensive to get it down out there.
