Crappy Review
His writting style says it all...
He is as slopy as his writting...
I beleive the S2000 is for very selective owners...if that was not the case then Honda would not hand-manufacture them next to the NSX and also mass produce them like anything...
Its like that saying...there is one in every crowd...

Like most things, one man's meat is another man's mess. The very few shortcomings of the S are are more than out-weighed by the good IMHO. Many reviewers have found fault with the Stook, somehow expecting a boulevard ride on a stiffly sprung, good-handling roadster. That's why they find cars like the Audi TT roadster so appealing as a cruiser, if not a handler. Granted, the S is somewhat inferior to the comfortable, fine handling Boxster S, but it's also less than half the cost, given similar equipment and ameneties.
I question the credentials of some of the reviewers of the Honda. They seem to have no concept regarding what a performance automobile is all about. I love my Stook; slings and arrows flung at it trouble me not!

I didn't find this review too off the mark. Am I missing something here? You have to consider this guy's audience? Many, if not most people, will not appreciate the characteristics of this car. Even many of the people here on this board will never push the car to its limits(in a controlled environment of course
) and drive it to its designed thresholds. His points were honest and his conclusions speak to the soccer moms and weekend blvd cruisers. Good advice for them to keep away, I think. It is a performance car that fills a small niche market.

Doesn't concern me since most respected reviews are able to compensate for that in their writing and completely gloss over the raw performance of the car, but warn away those who need not apply at the same time.
Honda itself has said that its not a car for everyone.
Sounds like he launched off idle for those times, the only thing I'd take issue with is when he says, "Even small bumps can jolt occupants and make the body shudder." I've never felt any flex in the structure at all. Wonder what was wrong with the test car.
