i dont doubt that the cayman is a slightly different car than the boxster, but the feel of porsche is sporty yet luxury removed. where as the s2000 has no bufferring. not trying to argue, just my opinion.

No question about it, the S2000 is a raw, pure sports car. That's why I bought one four years ago and still have it!

I drove a 04 Porsche 996 C4S for a couple of hours last summer, and it was a blast. I'd probably take that over my S. But then again, maybe not. There's something so pure about the S. I also drove a '72 BMW 2002. Very much fun to be had with old sports cars like that.

Other than that, maybe a '88 Tercel.

CL65 AMG and probably the Q45 and RL if I want more of a commuter drive, although I haven't driven the S2000 al that much.

Oh, and I might seriously consider the Miata if they threw in an engine as an option.

^^^Definitely Same. That was an intense drive, and i barely spooled cause i was in a good sized parking lot.

I also love my 240sx. Its absolute rubbish compared to an s2000, but the massive torque in such a small car is great fun in straight lines and coming out of corners sideways haha.

I rode in my cousin's WRX with an upgraded aftermarket turbo, and it was a rush (first turbo car ride). I would love to drive it, but probably wouldn't trade my s2k for it.
