I got the link to that site from the FAQ's in the electronics section of the forum, so I'm guessing it's real but I can't really say for sure since I haven't seen it in person.
Don't belive everything you read on the internet.

That's MacGyver's page, and the pic is most definitely a photochop (look at the width of the valve covers in the 2 pics).

To expand on that, I think it'd be awesome, that sort of engine would be a blast. But unless you're a recent Mega Millions winner, or otherwise independently wealthy, or have a workable business plan and serious investors lined up, it's no different from day dreaming how cool it'd be to date a supermodel.

The H1V8 starts at $28.5k, so I wouldn't be surprised it development was a quarter million or more. And it can ONLY be used in a race car - it's not something you can legally drop in your Elise, street registered Lotus 7, etc.

^Not to mention, a LSx V8 might be lighter and better balanced...you could probably get it to spin upwards of 7-8K if you reworked some things as well! just my 2cents. (also make wayyy more power.)

Well, think of it this way... Honda engineers are no dummies. Just keep repeating that to yourself when you think of mods.

If it was easy and cheap, they would have done it.

That is true, which is why it is very strange that their first and only FI engine is in the RDX. FI is the cheapest easiest way to make power yet they dont use it.

i think a better idea and an easier idea is to just put a f20/f22 in the trunk and have it run the rear and have the front one run front.

then that would be the sweetest s2k ever!

i mean ever! even better than unicorns!!!
