Default Creaking/rattling noise on launch

I just got back from driving the S2K and noticed that everytime I start moving in first gear, I hear a creaking/rattling noise coming from the back of the car. Sounds like it's coming from the back wheel. I hope this isn't a differential problem

Can anyone diagnose this problem, or is this just normal??

I don't recall thinking it was anywhere around the back wheels, but I hear something that sounds a little like a rattling heat shield - is that what you're hearing? I hear it if I'm starting slower - if I give it more gas to keep the revs up as I slip the clutch out it goes away.

Thanks guys. I'll take the car into the dealer next week. Hopefully, it'll be an easy fix.

I'll let you know what happens.

By the way, how much did they charge you for this service, or was it covered under warranty???

I just got back from Santa Monica Honda. They did the spindle fix and the creaking sound is gone. The tech that worked on the car actually showed me a newsletter that talked about the problem. My service adviser said that he had another car in for the same problem.
