Default Creaking Seats

Hi all. My passenger seat creaks and pops all the time. Has anyone tried two way taping some material (felt?) to the back of the seat so that it does not rub so much where it touches the cabin? Any quick fixes for this?

I've tried that, but then the seat pops when I hit bumps. I'd like to make some type of fix where the seat is permanently all the way back with some padding against the cabin to eliminate the rubbing sound. I think I'll just jam a t-shirt in there for now and see how well it works, then go from there.

Got the same problem too. When there is a passanger seated its ok.. but when vacant it rattles like hell.. I guess the back part is the culprit, swaying horizontally back and forth.

My driver seat creaks all the time. Somewhere near the seatbelt. I end up turning the music louder or rolling down the windows so I can't hear it.

Yeah, I get the driver side creaking around the seat belt area too.

Have you other guys with the passenger seat creaking tried sliding the seat forward a littler and not have the back of the seat touch the plastic rear panel behind the seats?

In my case, the creaking isn't coming from the seat touching the rear panel. The passenger seat can be all the way front and still have the creaking...the back of the seat (vertical part) sort of vibrates a little making it noisy when going over rough roads.
As I already posted ..putting some magazines in the rear pouch and sliding the seat all the way to the back so the vertical part of seat is holding to the rear panels without having the top part of the seat touching the rear panel

Good idea, I'm going to try that now.

I also get some squeeking on the driver seat near the seatbelt. I have done some investigating and found that the sound is actually from the actual belt (near your left shoulder when seated) rubbing against the top part of the seat. I think I am going to try and put some clear tape there, and hopefully that will fix it.

It is driving me nuts because it is right next to my ear.

Give the area a little treatment/ cleaning with some leather cleaner. It may ease up on the friction/noise. It worked on ours.
