Default Cruise Control Fixed (hopefully)

I took my car in today for an oil change, inspection sticker, and to have my faulty CC checked out. After saying they had never had such a problem, the service manager went for a ride with me. Luckily, I did manage to reproduce the problem (CC goes off over bumpy highway pavement). The tech spent the afternoon, finally tracing the problem to the shutoff switch on the clutch. He had to order the part, so hopefully this will fix it.

Frankly, I don't understand that kind of attitude from a service department.

We have cruise control in the car????

Seriously, I'm just glad they were able to track down the problem and fix it. I think I've used my cruise control twice, since I've owned the car.

I use my cruise control all the time - if I just modulate the speed myself, I find myself going _way_ too fast - I use the cruise control to keep me at a reasonable speed

Glad you got your problems resolved, its hard to deal with the dealers arrogant attitude ..... sometimes

Hey, cruise control is fun to play with, next time leave it in 3rd or 4th gear, get pass 6000 rev and set it on cruise if a Civic or PT cruiser want to play.

I put my left knee up by the window and right foot agaist the dash, smiling at them just press the accel button .....
