I was not able to mount the $4 collapsing holder easily on MY05.

Thanks for bumping this thread. Even though the solution is expensive, it is very clean and wouldn't deface our cars in any way. Heck, I might even get one of these for the wife's civic.

How come, that $4 one is just like the one in the link SakiGT put up? Anyhow, I bought a $2 one and installed it on my AP2. It's not adjustable like the one pictured, but I have a small insulated mug that fits perfectly!

I could not make the cupholder stay straight using only one screw. I think I really need the washer that Saki used, in order to make the cupholder stay straight using only one screw. Anyhow, the cupholder didn't seem that stable anyways.
