Default cusco front swaybar

Hey all before anyone flames me, I did a search on swaybars. I've been getting mixed reviews.

Anyway, i have a MY04 and I don't auto-x. I do the occasional track day and wanted a little less oversteer than the car currently has. I've read a well written review of the cusco front and rear installed but, I was curious how it would do with just the front bar?

Would it be too stiff without the rear bar to compliment it? I'm not sure so I'm asking for your help!

I was also thinking about getting the whiteline front swaybar, any input on that bar as well?

I am looking for a front sway, so if anyone has one availible let me know

thanks

Before you buy anything, you know that you can tune oversteer/understeer by adjusting front vs. rear air pressure or by modifying the wheel alignment. During one of the track days, find an experienced driver to help out with adjustments. Also, once you get used to the car, almost all oversteer situations are throttle controlled which IS a good thing.

In any case, all you really need to know about swaybars is how much stiffer they are than stock. The stiffer it is the less grip at that end. So stiffer than stock front swaybar = more understeer, stiffer than stock rear swaybar = more oversteer. Getting personal reviews gives you little value since car balance is a personal preference. It also depends on so many other things (springs, dampers, tires, tire stagger, tire pressure, alignment, road type, car model year since suspension settings have been tweaked over the years, etc.) that unless you have exactly the same setup as the reviewer you won't get the same result.

Suspension tuning is basically something you have to experiment for yourself to really get the right personal fit. Also, if you can't judge for yourself probably anything you change will make it feel better
