Has anyone tried to just change the old mufflers to new ones? Like buying a apexi mufflers and just weld them on it?
Is there any thing I have to watch out so I wont get powerlosses or so?
Cause I'm maybe planning in buying the Amuse extra, but I don't know if it will be suitable for a turbo mod in the near future.
What ever info you guys can help me with, i appreciate it.

The piping from the cat to the resonator is all stock, and the piping where the y splits is all customed made by a muffler shop.

 

Friend of mine (SoDakS2k) had Hyame *sp* mufflers installed. Hearing his exhaust is what convinced me to get a diff exhaust for mine. His sounds and looks great. When he gets back to town I will see if he has a pic to post.


--Edit-- I found a pic of the same muffler on another owners car. I think S0Dak has his mounted at a little bit more of an angle.
