Default Custom exhaust idea...

I'd like to convert to a single exhaust system with a Greddy Evo canister. Obviously, Greddy doesn't make a system for our cars but I'm unable to locate a universal muffler either. What I want to do is buy the rear section from another car and have a local muffler shop weld it on to custom piping. Even better, I'd like to be able to source aftermarket piping from another single exhaust system and have the shop weld it to the Greddy can. Other then that I believe all that would be required are the hangers to be custom fitted to the car.

Has anyone attempted anything like this? Just trying to get a generally feel in case anyone's attempted to try it and ran into a snag here or there I might be unaware of. I think this setup along with a resonated cat would sound really good.

Thoughts?

A friend of mine used Apex i piping with a Mugen rear section on his Integra. Fitment and sound were superb. All it takes is a good muffler shop and anything is possible.

Good luck!

Are you sure there isn't an S2000 single exhaust out there that would satisfy what you're looking for? There are well over 15 different single exhaust applications available for this car.

I'm sure there maybe something close, but I like the look of the EVO can so that's what I'm going for.

I'm sure you could find a race fabrication shop in your area that could make a custom exhaust for you and use the greddy can. Should be significantly less expensive than an aftermarket piece as well. There are numerous people on here running custom exhausts.
