When I travel I use a police/cb scanner. You'd be suprised how many drivers call the police to report nice cars that are going faster than them. Fortunately, most people aren't too good at remembering license plate numbers. But a plate that spells out something memorable... no more custom plates for me.

 

Mine says "S2KDRIFT"

 

Can a cop pull you over and give you a ticket because someone called in and said you were speeding? I doubt it...

i had TRBO on the turbo Integra...man I wanted TURBO...anyways I'm waiting for my plate to come in and my first choice was s2k4me.

Others I thought about, rkt29k (pre 04 owners) , s II k, and unins2k. some things the gf didn't approve of, s2kasm, and if you're a girl...s2kum4me :-p.

LOL Lude. Yes, I do know they do this. I was pulled over once because someone called saying my radio was too loud. The cop just said to keep it down and let me go.

I just wanted to make sure they couldn't give you a ticket based on a phone call.
