To start, Rick's Leather Visor covers + S Badges make the car look way nicer.

I would spend the money on 5 dollar whores. Do you know how many times you can get off with 5000 dollars? about a thousand times.

If you don't want to go SC from the start then I would take the 5k and start with getting rims/tires/suspension first and then take it from there. You can then buy an intake/exhaust if you would like, neither of them will really increase the performance too much, but it will sound good.

Thanks everyone for your reply. While you are giving good sugestions I was hoping for better upgrades than the ones I mentioned.

'Better' changes from person to person but the goal is to make the car look different (wheels) and sound sportier (exhaust).

Supercharger is on my mind but does not acomplish my current goals. Lips, Tops and carbon fiver parts will make it 'rice' on my opinion. I do have the OEM accessories on it.

Once again thank you everyone for the feedback and keep it coming.

A hard top makes the car "rice"??? Also, there are plenty of tasteful lips and carbon pieces that aren't "rice". What's your definition of "rice"?? Anything non OEM (There is an OEM hardtop you know)?

You say "better" then what you mentioned. You OK'd wheels and exhaust, and turned down lips, top, carbonfiber, Supercharger. Now so far i see just about EVERYTHING else has been mentioned as well. What else are you looking for?

As far as exteriour mods go, just about everything that fits in your 5k budget has been said. As far as performance goes, again just about everything that fits in your 5k budget has been said. You want your car to be different yet you snub your nose to everything that would make your car look/sound different.

I would suggest this, do some searching. Go to the gallery section and look at photo's of different S2k's. See what others have done. See what you like and what you don't like. Then use your own grey matter that's between your ears and make a decision based on what YOU like.

Something I really like is the Mugen front bumper. It will definitely make you stand out and looks like a giant smile. Take a look in the gallery; there's a mix of good taste and rice-mobiles

The first 5g's I spent was on:

OEM front lip, X-brace, Comptech ti Strut bar (didn't really do anything, but looks cool), Tein Springs, Intake, Exhaust, Wheels, cooling plate, ti shift knob, JDM emblems and badges, JDM side markers.

Next 5g's:

Mugen wing, mugen header, coil-overs, Mugen sway bars
