Anyone have TANGIBLE experience with those coilover? This is mainly for street and some rare track event.

I use to have a KYB AGX / GC setup on my BB6 and it was A1.

there are going for ~750$ ... or is there a better option under 1k$?

please don't tell me that I need to shell out 3k$ for a setup.

anyone dyno those shocks yet?

I put this coilover set in my friend's Mazda6. It drives like shit on the street even at the max stiff adjustment. Anything less will bounce the car around to no end. I don't know if it's an extremely low spring rate but I would not recommend them for anyone. Other than that, the build was standard coilover fare. The adjuster "keys" are too flimsy also IMO.

From what I heard, they are almost identical to Tein Flex coilovers = ride quality and build quality. The only draw back form what I know is that you are unable to get it service, or re valved in the US, and would need to be sent out.

Everyone has their own opionon/preference on what they feel a good suspension is suppose to do so its hard to really see whats best for you. For example, some people HATE the Tein Flex coilover, claiming it rides like crap etc...but other love the way it rides.

You can also look at Megean and Buddyclub coilovers which are all under 1k.

 

Get the Megan Racing coilovers. I had them on my Nissan 240sx and I have them on my S2000 (first one to have them actually). They have seen over 18k miles on them already, road racing event, and harsh roads of Orlando, Fl. You won't be disapointed with them.

 

After lots of research, I concluded that Konis + Ground Controls are the way to go in that price range. Better quality, lifetime warranty, ability to readily replace ind. shocks/springs if necessary, and extra tunability in being able to adjust spring rates in 25 lb. increments.
