Default daddy aoui his car......:(((

This is the first thing my 2-year old said when he saw the S on top of one stone fence, having run through another. He's catching on quickly. And no, he was not in the car with me!

Like so many others, spun out in a right hander, lifted foot off gas instead of staying on and sliding through, got the counter skid and the right rear wheel hit a stone in the ditch knocking it and the suspension crooked. From there on in it was a pretty much done deal, hit another 100kg stone on my way busting up the right front suspension - airbags popping, before coming to rest with yet another stone knocking the radiator and condenser into the frame X-member. Not pretty at all. I feel like a complete ass...

However, been to the local Honda dealer today and he seemed optimistic. Engine turns nicely, no leaks. Central structure looks intact. He seems confident they can fix it. Waiting for a quote.

I'm ok, wasn't moving that fast - the car would have been further a field/ more banged up if I was. Kinda surrealistic observing how airbags pop......

Guess who'll look into signing up for driving school......

I'll see if I can't post some pics once the car is strung up in the workshop. Hope to get it back in 3-4wks....

Your Norwegian 2-year-old is speaking English? Mad props for that!

I hear ya, same thing happened to me except I hit a parked car. Still waiting for it to come back from the body shop, any day now. Took about a month.

Got a quote yesterday - around 28k USD to fix. The value of the car is about 48k USD here. Will get the word today whether the insurance company would rather wreck it or fix it.
