Daily Drivers?
I do.
Life is too short to have a shitty beater to save miles on the S. get too many miles, buy another S. When you die, you won't be worried that you have 104K on your S and wish you had 45K. You'll be remembering all the fun you had.

I DD mine, however I never use it to get groceries, run errands, etc. It's just a ride from work to home and cruising when I want to. I'm super paranoid about theft (eventhough I don't live in a crime riddled area, however I'm concerned about the tuners around here) so I'll have my gf's Corolla to use.
Funny stepping into an automatic, and immediatley using your left foot to press down as if it had a clutch to turn on the car.
I'd love to have 2 S2000's.

I can't say I daily my S, but i do drive it more than my other 3 cars. The car is made to be driven and I will drive it until the car falls apart. My theory is, enjoy the car as long as you can. I rather beat the hell out of it and get my money's worth. Like someone said here, life is too short to drive a beater.
Every day. 107k miles so far. Loving every second of it too. I have no pain for the mileage. Heck, I'm PROUD of the miles i've logged in the car. Lots of memories. I'm going to drive it until it explodes.
life is too short to not drive the car you want to drive.
The S shares DD duties with my motorcycle (K1300GT), right about 50-50 for mileage, more driving of the S in the winter to avoid rain on the bike, I still ride in the rain but since I have the S I can avoid it on the bike

I DD mine about 60 miles a day, through 4 towns, 3 highways and a bridge - ending up in an industrial section of the Bronx which must have the worst roads in the continental US (and I'm lowered too).
But I still love it. But it has taken quite a beating, might have to start looking for a 2nd S to baby on the weekends
