As I was driving the 'outer limits' today, I missed a third gear 9000 RPM shift. When I went to powershift third I must have hit the bottom of the gate. How embarrising. I didn't get any crunching, just missed the shift then wound up in 5th. It almost felt like someone shut down the engine at that point. Luckily, it didn't seem to have an effect on any thing mechanical.

 

That's the kind of misshift you hope for.

 

your lucky you didnt miss the other way and end up in 1st

 

Thats a "good" misshift. If you'd have went "down" a gear, thats when you'd be hating life.
