You seriously went to the insurance for such a small dent like that? You can barely tell it's there. If that happened to me I would be mad too but I would've just took his skateboard and sold it.

nothing wrong with skateboarders, it's damn kids who aren't being careful, could have as easily been a baseball or a bicycle, every time my 10 year old climbs out of our pilot i'm all like "WATCH OUT FOR THE CAR NEXT TO US!", parents these days don't teach their kids to be mindful of other people's property, that's the real issue, hope you get your ride fixed!

You did all the right things to do. You break it you fix it no matter how small the damage is...

sorry about your car.

i am a "skateboarder" used to do stairs, rails and what not.
not all skaters are the same, you got some that are respectful, and you got a whole nother bunch that's disrespectful (usually the younger ones).
i know it's bad to skate on others property but to most of us.
if its' gov/business property it's far game, but if it's a house or car what not, off limits...
it's just all part of the sport and accidents do happen.
you can't contain them/us to a park cause that's not what skating is really all about.

ohh and it's a good thing you got their info and are making them pay for it.
maybe it'll teach him to be more careful after he gets an ear full from his mom.

Get it fix!!! Don't matter who pays for it All I know is when my car got keyed, I didn't wanna drive the car anymore. Everytime I was a stop light it felt like everyone was looking at the vandalism key marks, it was terrible!!! Everytime I looked at the car, my eyes with automaticly avert to the keyed areas and I was pretty much down for the whole day. After getting the car re-painted I don't even pay any attention to exterior thou, peace of mind, its great!! Also death to all vadilizer and careless pll who don't give a swat bout others property

whats your experience? I got hit my a shopping car in the same area, thinking whether or not to get it fix.
Similar indicent happened on my Getz. They repainted the section and fixed the dent. The end result looks like crap with different colour shades, etc. Lucky not completely obvious as it is white.

For a small ding like that, no. You can barely see it. Is your car in perfect show room condition that has no chips, scratches or dents on the entire car?? It's not like our cars are Ferraris or Lambos.
