I think it would be dangerous and would not do it. Why do you want to anyways? If you are dead set on going with a racing harness I would suggest to get a couple racing buckets. If you drive mostly on the street however with just ocasional track days I feel keeping your stock seatbelt would definatley be the best thing to do.

BTW I like your sig She is sexxxay

My understanding is that the danger from running a harness isn't the seats, rather it's rollover protection. Something about being able to duck if you have the stock 3-pt belt. As long as the harness straps are secured properly and are in the proper location, I can't think why the stock seat would be an issue.

One problem with running a harness is the S2000 seats won't support the shoulder straps properly. They'll just slid off you shoulders in an impact. Read the Shroth competition guide on belt mounting. The harness has to go through the seats or through the head rest holes so the straps won't slide down.

I'd be comfortable wearing a harness in the S2000. The stock rollover protection should protect your head (for the most part). It depends on how tall you are. I stick out above them so, it wouldn't work for me.

I have a harness in another car. It's a pain to put on and take off. I wouldn't want one in my S2000. The factory belts and airbags are enough for me.

Then the question is WHY would you want to have a harness? Have you looked into mounting one? At best it's a pain the ass. If you don't do it right, it's worse than factory belts .
