Default Pick Request, Harness on stock seats

Alright guys, i have an 04 AP2 and i plan on putting a racing harness in this winter for autocross and maybe some track days. I have a roll bar almost ready to go in and i just wanted to see who is running a harness on stock seats and if you like them. I don't wana get a new seat unless i have to, so any help would be awesome.

thanks guys!!

I would recommend against running a harness with the stock seats. The stock seats aren't designed to work with a harness and you would be increasing the risk of injury during an accident.

Bad idea. There is no accommodations for a harness with the stock seats, so they will just slide off your shoulders should you every really need them.

Too tight. The straps should rest on your shoulders, not wrap around your neck.

If a safety / tech inspector lets you run even auto X ( cone cross) with a 4 point harness over the stock seats then they deserver to be dragged around the course repeatedly by there ankles.
