Going about 60 on the interstate. Watched a plastic bag travel over my hood, windshield, then right into the cabin where it floated around for about 5 seconds. Me and my passenger watched it while it was inside then it caught a current and jettisoned out the back. We looked at each other and said "WTF!"
I did something similar with a plastic bag, but decided to try and snag it as it came over the hood and windshield @ 60 mph. The thing smacked my hand and I couldn't close my hand in time to grab it. THAT THING STUNG. My hand was not happy for the next 5 minutes!!! Probably won't try that again.

I've frequently noticed bees and wasps trying to "mate" with my Spa. (They seem to think it's the biggest queen bee they've ever seen. )They have a nasty habit of flying into the cockpit at stop lights and making themselves at home

Same thing here, I had a draggon fly that was in love with my car, would not go away..........But couldn't keep up with the VTEC though........hahaha

I was sitting at a stop light in the left lane along with a long line of cars when I noticed in my rearview mirror this guy flying down the left hand median trying to beat the left turn arrow. Apparently he thought the median was his own personal lane. Man it pisses me off when people do that.

When he passed me (at about 35mph) he kicked up a rock that flew into my car, bounced off the inside of my windshield back off the dash and hit me in the sunglasses. I could'nt believe what had just happened.

When I found the rock, it was the size of a pea. That wasn't very funny. What was funny was the look on faces of the people who were around me waiting at the light. The must have thought I was crazy because I was swearing a blue streak at that a$%hole.

the only thing I had fly and hit me was, (sadly) a self inflicted wound. It may take a little to explain this, so be patient.

this past April, I made the trip from Pa down through WV to attend the "Wake the Dragon" festivities. It was a blast. Arriving at the registration cabin, and being by myself. I just sort of wondered in an checked in. I was given a whole package of stuff that included a little ID tag/neck chain, dinner tickets and prize drawing coupon. I noted the guy in front of me excercising what looked to me as a "good idea". He tucked his dinner tickets and prize drawing coupon in his I.D. tag that was hanging around his neck. That way, it would be available, and wouldn't get "lost" in the clutter of maps, advertisments, t-shirt, magnet, etc that came in the registration package. Ok, now lets fast forward to Saturday afternoon.

I met a great group of guys from Cleveland on Saturday morning, and spent the day "running" with them. We decided to make a run over the Chirahola (sp) Skyway. I believe I was the second or third car in the pack. Just started up the mountain, when a gust of wind picked up my I.D. tag, pulled the dinner tickets and coupons out of it, and sent them on a whirlwind tour of the cars cockpit. Imagine if you will, the site from the car behind me. There I am, going up through the gears, V-tecing the whole way, when suddenly, I start thrashing my right arm around through the air, as if I was trying to climb into the sky!
I managed to "capture" my meal ticket in mid air after it hit me in the face, but I lost track of the prize drawing ticket!

Anyway, at that point I had to pull over to releave the drivers behind me from witnessing anymore of the torture. I spent the next 10 min. or so walking back the road to try and find my lost prize. As it turned out, they had blown up into my umbrella that was tucked into the storage net in the passenger side. I didn't find them till later, and the only thing I won with those tickets was this story and a couple of lessons.

Not every "good idea" turns out the way you thought it would, and sometimes what hits you in the face is your meal (Thinkabout it!)

i haven't had anything come into the cabin yet.

BUT

the other morning i walked outside to go to work only to hear a strange scratching noise coming from under the hood of my car. I looked down to discover a squirrel had found his way in between the radiator and my front bumper. I just sat there staring at him thrash around and about a minute later he hopped out.

Some guy was humping the ground with one of those loud things/machineries used for breaking the cement, and I had no clue what he did. Gravel/cement just showered me and my interior ...
