Default In-Dash DVD

After following one of the other threads regarding some of the items available over in Japan, I started cruising thru the Honda website...

You don't need to know Japanese to check out the following link. Down in the bottom left they let the buyer custom select interior/seat/roof/exterior colors-which include 4-5 Non U.S.ext colors.

I got to this page from a page that showed S2000 and S2000-V. This was the "S2000-V" which looks to be the DVD Video option. Now I'm not interested in plugging in my favorite DVD while driving, but wouldn't that be cool if it was also a GPS unit ....

You're right! The technology section did show the GPS!

There seemed to be a whole lot more to it, so I started looking. Figured there must be a way to translate the bulk of the site while on-line. After checking out a couple of free sites (most were (German, French, Spanish, etc..) and ads for a couple of commercial products, I realized there must be an easier way. (As in one I could use Right Now .

I'm running Netscape v6.2x at home. When all else fails it is time to check out the Help files. Well guess what I found:

=========================
Translating a Web Page

You can get a quick, approximate translation of a web page in a language of your choosing.

1. Go to the web page you want to translate.
2. Open the View menu and choose Translate.

-- They said ---------
3. You'll be taken to the Gist-In-Time web page. The address (URL) of the page you want to translate is already filled in. Choose languages for the translation, and click "Gist!" There is a brief delay while the translation is completed.

I guess most members already knew how to do this , but for anyone else who is looking to check out some foreign language S2000 sites...

To make a long story short, all you have to do is go to the following page, and then enter the address of the site, and what language you are translating into English.
