Dashboard Kits
Just got my new yellow S2000 last week. I am interested in dressing up the interior. I checked allroadster.com and they have a number of kits in brushed alumunum, burlwood, carbon fiber, etc. I would like to know if anyone has any experience with their kits (or the ones from RM Racing). I am particularly interested in opinions as to which material looks the best in the car. Comments would be appreciated.

I wouldn't recommend it, I feel the only interior changes that you need to make are rick's leather accessories. Its pretty much a _must_. Once you've seen a s2k with the leather console cover, its hard to see one without it. Just check the group buy section for information regarding his accessories.
Regarding the dash kits, there are several kits out there. You can usually pick them up pretty cheap on ebay.com, just search for "Honda S2000 dash" and it should come up. Or just click on this link. Pictures from some of the members are around here or on their photopoint albums.

Be very wary of the kid who goes by the e-bay name of RT910. I have not seen his kit, but I've paid for one. He has all the excuses in the world including that he is only 19 years old. He seems to have trouble filling his orders either from not having any kits or the inability to ship. If I had it to do over, I'd have ordered an RM kit. These kits are also half the number of pieces as the RM kit. Read his e-bay feedback. It kinda sucks. Just be warned.
I have the brushed aluminum kit you can see it at www.photopoint.com and put in my email address chazbruno@home.com.

My two cents, as if anyone asked...
I think the look of the kits that I have seen is pretty good, but my gripe is that they are all stick on pieces. I would be more interested if the pieces were replacement carbon fiber or aluminum pieces, not just stick on thingies.
I am leaving my interior stock, with the excpetion of a few of Rick's goodies and MB Quart components in the doors. To each his own, certainly, but until the pieces are replacement parts, there won't be one in Scarlet...
