Default Dashboard question

Is it possible to remove the metallic pieces from the dashboard (see pic)and then put them back without braking them?
And how about the metallic looking piece around the shift boot,is it a loose part?

Getting the rear bumper repainted and was thinking about painting the interior parts in the exterior color.
