The day you sold your s2000
Don't know if my story is applicable but my first S2K (05 GPW w/52k miles) was stolen the day before Christmas last year. I told myself I was out of the S2k market and wasn't going to buy another one. If I was to buy another "fun" car, it was going to be an NSX because that's what I wanted from the beginning.
Fast forward to 30 days ago...I bought an 05 NFR. Decided the NSX was too expensive not only to purchase but to maintain. I didn't want to deal with the headaches of finding parts and paying a premium for them (cuts into the beer budget!).
This time I'm not planning to do many mods to the car and have more fun driving the crap out of it!

). Especially the beer budget
Plus if I was driving around 'my' NSX I would be even more paranoid than I am with my S... and that just wouldn't be healthy lol
I was in the same situation. My son was just born, the S2000 was my only car. I was sharing a car with the wife and the S2000 was just collecting dust. It was hard but it was the right decision at that time, new kid, new house. Priorities first. I sold the S to get a Honda Fit. It's been 7 years, things are stabilizing and I was able to purchase another S2K, not saying you'll still want another S again and kept the Fit. I'm sure there will be plenty of offerings when you're ready again.

I'm hoping I don't ever have to sell my S2k, but I don't think I'll regret it as much as some of you. Ever since my brother brought home a Porsche Boxster S, I haven't driven my S2k in a long time. The Porsche seems to be great in all aspects, plus it's a lot roomier. I thought the Honda sounded great, but a flat-6 behind your ears sounds even better! Will I miss my S2k if I sell it? Probably. Will I regret it? Probably not.
I'm on my third S2K. I think I'll learn my lesson and keep this one. My first one, I highly regret selling as it was completely mint. My second one wasn't the greatest example of an S2K, so I don't miss it too much, but I knew the day I sold it that it would not be my last S.
