Default DC Sports NEW Header!

Was surfing the web and noticed that on Dc sports website they have a new header listed that says *coming soon* They have two prices listed (857.50) and (705.05) I'am guessing this will be one headers design with two finishes to choose from! (Mild steel and Stainless) Just wondering how this one will perform in comparsion with the their first one and how it will compet with (Mugen/Amuse/Comptech/Toda/Spoon) I guess DC sports had little to say about the first one they made so maybe they fixed the problem (design).

I heard about this a while back, but if Im going to drop that kind of cash on headers its going to be another company. Although I do respect DCsports products.

Remember DC Sports is now owned by AEM so I would hope that quality and design of this new header is greatly improved.

Because it's a 50% savings, availability, and most of all it could be better. How can you say you would rather spend that much more money for just a name without any details on the other product? Do you just like to brag about the names of parts on your car or actually have a better product? I don't have anything against amuse or mugen but how can you automatically assume they are better. AEM is a great company from what I know and I trust that if they are going to re-design an existing product it will only be improved upon. Afterall it's not rocket science.

Chances are that this new design will be a lot better. Ever since AEM took over DC, their [new] products have been good.

Have to wait and see what happens when it becomes available.

I have a little more faith in AEM's R&D than DC's....and now with an AEM-run DC Sports, chances are that the newer header design will be better....as long as they can prove the gains versus the stock header (and justify the price in the process)....that and provide a CARB number (for those of us in Cali).

First off, those are retail prices. Because they are DC you should be able to get them at deep discounts online. Places already have the brushed version listed at $500. This is what confuses me, if it's coming soon why are so many shops listing it for sale?

If they do for the S2K what they did for the RSX (copy the Toda design) then I am all for it. $500, no 2 month wait, and CARB exemption sounds good to me. But I am not holding my breath.
