the H is alright, i don't know if i'd want to have to fix up the front and rear and have 'em professionally painted. don't know if the cost justifies the look. but, if i had a choice, money no object i might lean towards un-badged...

mine took forever to get the adhesive of as well.
i took off the s2000 side badges and it took about 2 hours total with bug n tar remover and my credit card stupid i know but it was the best thing i could find
The side ones do take ages to get all the damn adhesive off.
Does the front license plate also have holes to fill? I've had my S2000 for a year and 7 months almost, but I haven't taken off the front license plate because I'm afraid there might be two holes to fill.

See they act like its as easy as takeing those things off. It took me a week to get the adhesive crap off my car. I tried bug and tar remover alcohol and finally goo gone. But its by far the most difficult part of the whole thing. you have to keep spraying goo gone on your car and let it set for hours and then it will finaly come off. I recommend just leaving them on because that stuff is to much of a hassle.
If you are debadging an older car, it is much harder to remove the adhesive backing. For a 2008 or newer car, it will be very easy. I have experienced both.
Also, for older cars, the paint behind the badges, especially for darker colors, will not be faded like the areas that have been exposed to the sun since new.
I completely de-badged my S. I was able to get the adhesive off in less than 5 minutes per badge (front rear and sides). I had goo gone, but it didn't seem to do much of anything to the adhesive.
Here is what did remove the adhesive fast:
1. Heat up the remaining adhesive with a hairdryer.
2. Using a clean cotton cloth (make sure car body is 100% clean besides the adhesive) rub the hot adhesive with the cloth, the adhesive will rub right off.
3. Re-heat and continue to rub, the adhesive will wipe away.
4. I used some 3M 1-step cleaner/wax afterward. Buff on, buff off. Looks great!
GRRR, I had mine shaved and debaged and then they just replaced my bumper cause of an accident and they put the damn badge back on. time to go get a Ricks S badge i guess
