how much does dealer charge for hardtop? im goning to give them a call when i get home but i was want an idea. I want to buy from hardtopguy but dont want to pay $500 for shipping.

 

Even after shipping it's probably cheaper to buy from Jeff @ HTG. I've gotten qoutes upwards of $3,500 in the DC metro area. I usually give dealers a confused look whenever I get parts from them because of their markups.

 

Some dealerships refuse to even purchase one claiming it's out of stock and no longer available.

 

I got mine delivered to the local Honda dealer after tax for less than $3000. This came out a couple hundred ahead of HTG.

Don't pay someone to install it - it's crazy easy. I do suggest having someone else on hand, though.

But since your car is "custom color", have you considered looking for a used one? I bet you can find one under $2000. I've even seen them as low as $1500.

I got mine for 3200 from the dealer, it cost another 2-300 to get installed. If i would have known how easy it was to install from the beginning i wouldnt have paid to get it done.
