Is the Dealer screwing me?
M'am your son needs an appendectomy. Now usually a good surgeon could do it in an hour and only charge you $1000 for it, but seeing as I'm a pediatrician and I've not done any before all by myself, I expect it to take me three hours, so I'll have to charge you $3000 for it. Is that okay?
You guys seem to forget that there might be two different marketing organizations. If you bought a S2000 in Canada and brought it to the US, American Honda does not have to repair it under warranty. Read your sales documentation. It is not required but American Honda usually does honor Honda Canada warranties. It is also quite possible that Ireland does not get reimbursed as much as Holland because of labor rates. Lots of possibilities.
If you bought a pair of florshiem shoes from Sears and took them back to the florshiem store for a problem they most likely would not honor the warranty, they'd tell you to take it back to Sears.

Barry, this is the key point that Woodwork is alluding to
. Such grey market cars often are much less expensive to buy and import into the UK, but don't come with the same (if any?) warrantee.
