Dealerships in Kentucky
I'm looking for dealerships in Kentucky that are reasonable to deal with. I'm in the Northern Kentucky area. I'm more than willing to drive to get a decent price. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I bought mine from Honda Cars of Clarksville in Clarksville, Indiana. It's about 10 minutes north of Louisville. I purchased an 02 for MSRP. It was a pleasant experience and I've had good luck with their service department. Happy hunting!
Thanks for the help. I will definitely check them out. The dealerships up here wouldn't let me drive one till I agreed on a price. Is that normal? I've never agreed on a price of a vehicle before I've drove it. I think the dealership I went to was trying to rip me.
S2k buyers usually don't want any miles on their cars when they pick them up to make sure they are broken in properly. They shouldn't let you drive it unless they feel like you will buy it. That is fairly typical. If they have one with some miles on it they should let you drive that one.
I would also consider Bob Montgomery on Dixie HWY. Go to Sam Swope if you want to get jacked. Honda Cars of Clarksville is OK, they are about to remodel so it may be a good time to get one. Try e-mailing some dealerships in Cinci and around KY. That will help you get the best price.
Contact Jeff Toelke (513-528-8074) at Honda East in Cincinnati, OH. Tell him Gary sent you. He's a very good friend of mine.
Not sure how far you are from Cincinnati but Honda East has a "Life Care Plus Warranty" which says they will warranty the engine and drivetrain for as long as you own it. It doesn't cost anything but you have to have all your scheduled service done by them and you can't modify the engine. They replaced my clutch (at 35,300 miles) no questions asked.
I can't complain about their Service Department (i.e. no "extra" miles, no scratches). Their oil changes run about $26.00 and the 30,000 mile service was about $360.00.
Good luck in your quest! It's a wonderful car.
