dearlership documentation; a long shot
hello from Europe (Belgium), I am committed to purchase a s2000, 2005 year on the European side of the Pool.
I have already identified my wheels of pride, it is waiting the end of the winter season at the local Honda dealer.
Meanwhile, I have started collecting documentation.
So first, I wish to thank you all contributors to this forum for the impressive amount of very useful information you gathered and commented on each of the S2K forums.
Regretably, hardly any substantial and detailed information about the design and concept of the S2000 exist in Europe.
the only book I could find so far is the Daniel Carney's Honda s2000, bought on EBay.com and imported to Europe.
So, I am currently seeking some attention and help to locate a dealership book on the S2000,
one of the 2500 printed would make me quite happy.
So in anticipation, many thanks to one (or several) readers willing to help.
Have a nice day.

i could rather easily find some commercial brochures, I mean the yearly ones, distributed for free to potenial buyers by Honda dealers.
These are available either through eBay, being in UK, or France, they are usually sold around 10 US$ plus shipping fees.
others are in german or italian or else, languages (japanese), I regretably do not speak or read.
Also please note that the 2.2 liter engine was destined to the USA market.
In Europe we enjoy only 2.0 liter albeit with the same engine output.
Torque may have been upgraded too with the bigger displacement engine.
well what I am after, is the book specifically giving to dealers and to USA dealers.
some 2500 or 3000 only being printed, so rather hard to locate in Europe.
I read some threads on the S2K forums, that some samples could still be on sale...
thank you for your interest and comments.

Yap, exactly the one, and pretty rare I am sure,
although if we do no try searching, we might never find one.
i checked on the internet with lukewarm eagerness and found zilch so far.
i got some commercial brochures, mainly for the 2006 model, both the UK one (RHD) and the USA model (2.2 engine while in Europe we have only the 2.0).
from eBay, a British distributor, I could get a CD version of the maintenance and service manual, around 3500 pages or about.
I could also purchased the Carney book but at the time of printing, the author had only the 2000 model to describe.
later versions of S2000 were improved and those alterations are hardly described thoroughly anywhere.
although many hints are listed on this forum.
usually I can find several books on sport cars before buying, but Honda doc is scarce.
i could easily get some for my previous classic cars, like 1981/911 SC, 1965/lotus elan, 1975/triumph TR6, alfa romeo giulia 1975/bertone 2000,
for the alfa I admit that the USA owner club helped a lot, as my bertone was originally sold in the US and recently reimported in Europe.
hence it complied with USA issued spécifications, for pollution control.
thank you for your comments and interest.
