How many S2000 owners have a stick on front number. My car came with one and I prefer it to the government issue metal plate which acts like a speed brake or blocks off cooling air. Just heard that the local cop has been issuing $200 fines for not complying with the letter of the law. This sucks big time. The decal is the same size as a standard plate and the white background is reflective.

 

Those decal plates sound like a great idea - but not sure if they are legal here in the US...

Here is a shot of my car at the dealer's lot just before I bought it.

 

I've never seen that before. Is it legal here in the states. It doesn't look that attractive, but at least it doesn't destroy the lines of the car.

 

Probably not legal, though I think better than having the front plate and bracket like we currently do.

 

Don't you guys in NZ have slim line plates? They allow more air through than the normal 'fat' ones.

I don't really like the look of that stick on thing. The car looks great though
