Default decided!

finally i have decided to go with single exhaust...T1R 70mm....one concern is..I have spoon test pipe, and i dont know what size it is. if it is smaller than 70mm, does the T1R still have the same performance? or it doesnt really matter? and the other thing is is there anything in the market that for the rear bumper has only one muffler cut instead of one empty hole after i change to single exhuast?

and the T1R 70mm is straight back or have a angle to the right? if it only comes with straight back, is there any way that i can make it going to the right a little bit when i install it?

I dont know about the sppon test pipe probably 63 mm so you would need to get a flange of some type to mate up to the larger exhuast, just as you do if you get a 70mm testpipe you have to get a flange to mate up to the header. As far as the bumper, you can get an exhuast cap from Ztec I think that turns your AP1 bumper from 2 to 1 outlet.

Hate to say...but if the Spoon tp is not 70mm, I would consider selling the Spoon and buying the T1R 70mm test pipe to get the max gains.

The spoon tp should mate to the exhaust without a problem. It is designed to replace an oem cat and the exhaust is designed to mate to an oem cat.

Well J's got 12whp and 12 wtq out of the 63 mm with the testpipe. I didnt realize that the spoon was only OEM size. If that is the case ,I agree with the above post, sell the spoon get a TIR 70 mm testpipe 15whp maybe more.

+1 for sell the Spoon testpipe, get a T1R 70mm test pipe to make your exhaust flow correctly, you will pick up noticable power over the Spoon test pipe as long as you're running a 70mm exhaust. Plus the T1R TP has bungs on it to attach the factory cat's heat shield so it looks like you're still running a cat

If you're talking of purchasing the T1R 70 new, you will not need to worry about test pipes as it is a header-back unit. If you are purchasing a used T1R (Version 1) 70, I would suggest also purchasing a 70mm TP to compliment it.
