i was worried about this when i bought my S too since were planning on having kids in the next year or so.
we came up with a decent solution.

i would keep the S in the event of a baby.
id also just buy a cheap-o $2000 used civic or something small 4door just to park at the house in case i needed to transport the baby and she wasnt availble.

its a option.
you can find a decent beater under 3 grand i think.
something reliable.
i could also go with having another car with like a $200 monthly payment.

we figured wed look in to it when the problem came up.
