Well, when we think of the term "faster" we tend to think of the ratings that car mags give cars. like "0 to 60" or "quarter mile time and speed" . But there are other speed ranges. Such as that which you find when you are going 45 mph, dump your s2k into 2nd, and floor it. You'll see what I mean.

Thanks,
Richard

I'm a math person, so I have come up with this mathematical formula to determine what is a fun to drive car.

You take the variables FTD (Fun to drive) and combine that with the variables S2K (S2000) respectively.

FTD multiplied with S2K yields FST2DK if you will.

FTD x S2K = FST2DK

FST2DK = FaST 2 Door Kart.

QED.

Quick turn in, tight suspension, good power

Only complaint is no torque, torque can be fun too!

The Prius or Insight sounds like a much funner car.
When they make one that looks, runs, and handles like an S2000 I'll be all over it.

what's the definition of fun to drive? is it how fast the car responds to your input or what? and why gives the S the fun factor over cars that are faster and more expensive?
There is no way to define it. It is a totally subjective term.

All I know is the S2000 has got it in spades.

My definition is purely physiological. If it get those endorphin "happy hormones" surging, then its fun to drive.

If you drive it just for the sake of driving it (not running errands, not going to work etc.) then it's fun to drive.
