Default defrost problem

The temperatures around here have been pretty mild considering its the middle of winter. Right around the freezing point. I've noticed my windsheild would fog up within 2 mins of driving. I realized no air was coming out from the defrost vents as well as the vent by the footing area. The only way to rid the moisture build up on my windsheild would be to open my windows. Not exactly ideal when its raining.

Has anyone had this problem? I have yet to bring to the garage. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Sounds like the solenoid that opens/closes your vents might be broken. I hope that's not the case as they can be hard to get to so repair charges are pretty high. I'm not sure where they're located on the S though, so it could be fairly easy as far as I know.

Yes, the fan runs. But which ever setting the heat setting knob is set at, air only comes out from the vents facing the driver/passenger and side vents for the windows.
