Buddy got a rep hardtop but it has an oem window. We've found the tabs for the defroster but I realize that the OEM hardtops are aluminum and ground is to the hardtop itself. Anyone know where to wire the ground for a rep hardtop that is FRP?

 

create a jumper wire, the defroster harness positive goes to the driver side tab, the ground goes to the passenger tab.

the driver side ground is bolted to the hardtop, then travels through the hardtop body to the passenger side bolted ground which is connected to the passenger tab. instead of bolting make a wire extension that wraps around the bottom of the window to the passenger side ground... mimicking what the aluminum top does completing a circuit
