Put some round head bolts through the holes and maybe a nut on the underside of the trunk? Just an idea...

If it is for the track, just buy an extra trunk and swap trunks for track events.

I have a trunk lock FS (Just not posted yet) you could install. That would make the swap easier. Even if the key is wrong, who cares? Use the in car popper

Personally, I would leave the thrid brake light off. If you are required by law to have it, buy a spare (75 in the FS forum now)
