Design Fault: replacement of Engine Loom

My 5 month old Belgium sourced S2000 (6000miles on clock) has spent the last 2 weeks in a Uk garage due to what Honda technical class as a 'design fault' on the engine. Water has been been getting into one of the two oxygen sensors & engine loom causing a false reading & shutting the engine down. Apparently this has occurred on a 'few' s2000s but Honda Uk will not be recalling due to the cost (over

Sorry to hear of your difficulties. I'm not sure why the technician labeled this as a "design fault"? This is the first report of this problem that I have heard of. Anyone else have this issue?

I hope that the car is repaired and back on the road soon

Definitely a new failure mode. Was the wayter from pressure washing or just a rainy day?
