I think this has been tested before.
Although the F22 CAN rev to 9k Rpms, the big difference is the durability of it reving to 9k over the long term. The F22's longer stroke leads to faster piston speeds and greater strain on the crank and other internals than the F20.

I use sand in the intake to port and polish my cylinders. The extra particles decrease the chamber size and I rev to 14k rpms!
