Destroking an '04

Default Destroking an '04

Besides swapping the crankshaft, the ECU and the instrument panel to a JDM spec panel (it's all metric up here anyways), what other changes would be necessary to get back the 9000rpm redline?

This is just a fun hypothetical question, I don't actually plan to do this. Well, maybe.

Why not just pull the F22C put an F20C back into it and swap ECUs?

Or order an S2000 from Germany. You can do that for $4000.

or you could wait until companies make cams for the f22c like TODA they make a camshaft kit for the K20 in the RSX and you send in your ECU and they do the tuning for you and raise your redline. Hopefully they will do that for the s2000 too.
